Alejandro J. Solorio is a partner in the law firm of Solorio & Avila Law Firm, LLC. Mr. Solorio is a 1999 graduate of Washburn University School of Law.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Solorio worked with Advocates for Legal Equality (ABLE) in their farm-worker program. Mr. Solorio also worked with the California Rural Legal Assistance (CRLA) handling labor law issues affecting migrant farm-workers in the California Central Valley.
Mr. Solorio was formerly an associate attorney for a Kansas City immigration law firm prior to joining Solorio & Avila Law Firm, LLC.
Mr. Solorio is currently a legal advisor on immigration matters for the Mexican Consulate, Kansas City, Missouri, and has worked with the Kansas Advisory Committee on Hispanic Affairs as well as with the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund.
Mr. Solorio is fluent in Spanish.
Mr. Solorio limits his practice to the area of immigration law. Mr. Solorio’s practice is focused primarily on family-based immigration cases, removal cases in Immigration Court, lawful permanent residency, naturalization and business immigration cases.
